Wanted: Volunteers for the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon and IPL 500 Festival Parade

OneAmerica needs your help in providing the best experience possible for the city of Indianapolis in the month of May!

As a longtime supporter of the 500 Festival and the proud title sponsor of the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon since 2005, we’re on a quest to provide nearly 500 volunteers for this year’s race, slated for Saturday, May 4, 2019, and other Festival events. Whether it’s passing out water at a training race, doling out bananas to proud Mini finishers or walking the flag during the 500 Festival’s Memorial Day parade, there’s a job for you!

We encourage you to invite your family and friends to make volunteering a yearly tradition. All volunteers must be at least 16 years old by the day of the event for which they are volunteering.

Additional Volunteer Opportunity – Volunteer for the OneAmerica Walking Flag in the IPL 500 Festival Parade.  The parade occurs on Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 4, 2019.  Family and friends can also join you in the Walking Flag as long as they are a minimum of 10 years old and at least 4’ 10” tall.
